Things are back on track and gaining speed! I am feeling so much better, my Lyme cycle seems to be back on the good side and I have been moving much easier. Which means that I get myself into all sorts of trouble out in the garden and looking for new inspiration. I found way too many things that I want to capture and share with all of you.
This weekend is a long weekend and I am SO SO SO excited for a few reasons. This weekend my oldest friend, Lance is coming to visit from Colorado for a few days. I am so excited that sitting still and getting my work done this week has been really difficult! I haven’t seen him in about 20 years.. a lifetime ago, even though we have stayed in contact we haven’t been in the same space in such a long time. I can’t wait to show him around, and just enjoy hanging out together. The other reason is that I have been working really hard on a few projects for my Synagogue and I need a bit of a break. I love it, I love them, but goodness.. I really need to stop thinking about weddings and other events for the community for a tiny bit and enjoy the break.
I hope all of you are taking a few minutes as I am to stop and think about why we are getting a long weekend, it’s not for picnics or BBQ’s, not for sleeping late and mowings the lawn, but for taking a moment to think about the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving our country. I am personally thankful for three amazing guys who have served our country proudly. One my friend Lance who went bravely to the Marines and kicked ass , Brandon who has been my best friend for 13 years and has taught me not to fear his service but to honor it and all that he gives up to be able to serve our country. It’s NOT an easy job, rarely comfortable, and never without concern. And Sterling who makes flying around the world sound as easy as driving to the grocery store and has taken such great care of his wife and children.
All of you deserve my respect and honor, as well as all of the men and women who I don’t have the honor of knowing and those that I pass at the Vet’s cemetary each week. Thank you all!
Enjoy Life,
Crysta
