We were featured in this incredibly beautiful treasury today and I wanted to share it with you!
I love this treasury. I think it just reminds me of summer and fun. These beautiful classic girls bring out the best of the summer feel and are so All American. Enjoy and let me know how you feel about it.

We all wear many hats and sometimes those hats get a little heavy and you just fall behind a little or a lot and as a result you change your routine in order to get as much done as possible before you collapse. I am a typical busy Mom, Full-time Wife, part-time Volunteer, and Indie Crafter on Etsy.com.
For me, my year pretty much starts the first day of school and cycles with the school calendar. The first day of school for my daughter, the last one still living at home, means I get this fresh feeling of a clean slate and I am super excited for everything to get started again. It also means that just like the rest of the kids by May I am getting a bit worn down and ready for the summer. But as a shop owner, you don’t get to slow down or slack off because you are tired, or else you will lose customers and people will quickly forget about you.
So today I had to look around to see what parts of my routine I had dropped off in order to get everything else finished. I realized I haven’t done a treasury list in a few months which used to be my Tuesday morning routine. Today, I am reaching back to my routine and grabbing hold of a fun way to show off other shops that I really like and be creative with them. So please enjoy today’s treasury, but I warn you… it’s a little steamy.
These amazing artists have an incredible talent that my complete admiration. Each piece danced in my soul to the music of the Rolling Stone’s classic Ruby Tuesday. Please take a look and let the artists know your impression of THEIR work and let me know what your thoughts were when you looked at the treasury. What did you think of first? Did it linger with you? What did you not like at all? What did it make you feel?

Today we were featured in a new treasury by Deborah LarsonfromEleksmom and it got me thinking about turtles. It’s kind of hard to look at those gentle faces and not just feel a tiny bit happier. But did you know they have been around for 110 million years, since the time of the dinosaurs?
Green sea turtles can stay under water for as long as five hours even though the length of a feeding dive is usually five minutes or less. Their heart rate slows to conserve oxygen: nine minutes may elapse between heartbeats. WOW! Check out the Defenders.org website for more interesting facts about sea turtles
Here’s the treasury Sea Turtle Love – Enjoy!
